The International school producted a solemn meeting dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, thinker, philosopher and educator Abay Kunanbayev. MYP students performed the national anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan and gave a good start to the event.
The event was also attended by MYP Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Maksat Zhampeisov, event coordinator Akbar Tusupbayev, music and art director Riza Rakhimova and teachers.
Teachers of additional education performed the song of the great Abay “Aittym salem, Kalamkas” and contributed to the initiative dedicated to the celebration of the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev. Also, during the solemn meeting, students were awarded letters of thanks for actively participating in the public life of the school. The Student council’s work was noted and letters of thanks were given to the members of the organization.
At the end of the event, coordinator Akbar Tusupbayev congratulated all the participants on the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh thinker Abay Kunanbayev and urged students to contribute to this significant anniversary.
