In order to prevent the spread of viral diseases, including coronavirus, among students of the International School in Nur-Sultan was held a comprehensive event. Explanatory work on the prevention of the epidemic was carried out by the Deputy Director for Work with the school community Kulyash Kabidoldanova and the chief physician of the school Gulnara Kanieva.
The chief doctor warned about the spread of the disease and measures to prevent it. Students received answers to their questions about the virus and got acquainted with the information provided by the doctor.
Simple hygiene skills should be observed to prevent coronavirus as well as acute respiratory illness. The first skill is to wash your hands often. Animal products should not be used unprocessed. It is necessary to try not to touch the upper respiratory tract, nose, eyes, mouth, “said the doctor.
The event was attended by MYP students of our school. Participants were provided with detailed information about the coronavirus, what is “Coronavirus 2019 nCoV”, ways of transmission of the virus, symptoms, methods of prevention, self-protection.
It should be noted that earlier parents and teachers were given special reminders about the coronavirus. In addition, a video explaining the prevention and treatment of coronavirus is shown on school screens.
