The Scientific New Year was held at the International School of Nur-Sultan, organized by the parent committee and the school administration. The chairman of the parent committee Meruert Uralovna, the deputy chairman Gulnara Serikovna and Nazim Toktamysovna took an active part in organizing this event.
Scientific New Year from Smart Astana is when there are no round dances around the Christmas tree, bunnies, face painting and cotton candy, but there is a holiday. And there are many non-banal scientific experiments and valuable knowledge. The PYP classes of our school took part in the unusual scientific new year.
According to the program, the events of the New Year’s adventure unfold at the University of Santa Clauses. Just before the New Year, the rector resigns. For the holiday to take place, it is urgent to find a replacement, and four candidates competed for his post.
The guys visited four New Year’s laboratories, where they conducted experiments to restore the missing components of the celebration and, of course, took part in the election of Santa Claus to save the holiday. As part of the election campaign, the University invited to the laboratories: the gift delivery laboratory, the laboratory of frosty patterns, the laboratory of glowing snow, the laboratory of safe fireworks.
Students of PYP classes conducted interesting experiments in four laboratories and gave their votes for their favorite candidate. At the end of the event, children were given special gifts.
We also express our gratitude to the parent committee, the organizers of the Smart Astana project, who made a great contribution to holding the Scientific New Year.
