Within the framework of the `Smart Thursday` project, a meeting was held with Ms. Lyazzat Turkestanova the Chief Editor of `Bilimdi el` is an Educated Country`.

She explained to the students about the work of a journalist, how to create interesting news and how to combine both traditional print with the electronic one:

– The brand “Bilimdi el” is recognizable to everyone who works in the field of education. The printed version of the newspaper is delivered to almost every school in Kazakhstan. There is a website where the information is posted in the same second. Such as Facebook, Instagram, Facebook, Odnoklassniki, the social media accounts. Personally, as an Editor, I run my Facebook page. That is, the work should be carried out in a versatile way.

Ms. Lyazzat Maksutovna also mentioned that the advantage of `Bilimdi El` is being bilingual and it has no competitors in the educational niche yet.

The Students of Grades 6-8 took part in a heart-to-heart conversation about journalism.

– We were able to learn more about the profession of a journalist, ask questions of interest to us and find out what it’s like to be a journalist, we learned from the first person, as well as the principle of creating an article, – says student Malika Zakirova.

Additionally, the initiative and organization belong to the Grade 8 students. Under the guidance of the Teacher-curator Mr. Medet Alimgazin, they organized their first event within the framework of the project.

– The event was very atmospheric: we learned how the guest of our interview built her career, about the experience of burnout, as well as competition. Everything was good, even very cool, – said one of the organizers of the meeting Alina Istayeva.
