Representatives of the ISA leadership team, headed by the Vice-Principal for Scientific and Methodological work Kuralay Akhmadiyeva, visited two IB schools in Hong Kong: Lutheran Academy and Discovery College.
As part of the visit, ISA staff members met with school program coordinators and managers of different levels, attended the lessons, met with representatives of the Student Council and got acquainted with the peculiarities of the schools in implementing the main components of IB programs.
The emphasis during the visit was placed on studying the system of support for students’ safety and well-being, focusing on language support, inclusion of SEN students and international students.
A memorandum with the Lutheran Academy was signed during the visit and a plan for further cooperation between the schools was discussed.
