The delegation of International School of Nur-Sultan took part in the International Conference of IB Schools “Experiential Learning” organized by European Azerbaijani School in Baku.
The teachers of our school presented their experience to foreign colleagues. Russian language teacher Aigerim Zhumatova and English teacher Aisaule Omirtas held a master class on the analysis of texts in origin and in translation through David Kolb’s experiential learning theory.
Mathematics teacher Darkhan Kozhamseit held a master class on the topic “Student’s experience is the most valuable learning tool”. The main idea of the mentioned master classes is to use the experience of students in teaching through group work and discussions. This will lead to more active and involved student collaboration and an understanding of life-long learning.
