Essay Contest “My Native Land” on writing creative written work by students, held within the framework of the I International Festival “Living water of the russian Word”. Contest was held on the basis of the I.A. Bunin Yelets State University from October 15 to December 17, 2021. The competition was attended by schoolchildren and students from Russia, countries of the near and far abroad.

A student of the 7th grade Aisana Utisheva became the winner, having been awarded a diploma of the first degree. In the essay submitted to the festival, “All roads start at the threshold of the motherland” Aisana expressed thoughts about the Motherland, the language, the values of the people and the future of the younger generation of Kazakhstan.

A student of class 10A, Islam Akhmetzhanov, was awarded a special nomination “Depth of understanding of the connection between the fate of a person and a country” for the author’s work “How a person’s life and creativity are connected with the concept of Homeland”. Islam presented a video dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence and an essay.

The Russian language and literature teacher Amina Sabitova prepared the students.
