The Principal of one of Latvian schools, Mr Vladimirs Samohins, paid an official visit to the International School of Astana. Mr Samohins, accompanied by the Head of the Experience Transfer Department of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Autonomous Educational Organization, Ms Gulnar Balgabayeva, got familiar with the ways of facilitating the learning process in some school departments.
During the tour, Ms Kulyash Kabidoldanova, a Deputy Principal of ISA, told her colleague from Europe about numerous education projects of the school, and he in turn carefully examined its classes and visited the greenhouse, gym, dining room and library. Particular attention was paid to science laboratories. The guest highly appreciated the campus, which fully corresponds to the modern requirements for designing and equipping the classrooms, as evidenced by the fact that students always have a desire to spend the whole day in the school. And Mr Samohins also showed great interest in organizational and financial issues of school management, down to the alarm system.
The guest noted that the modern and comfortable school building, meeting new standards and equipped with the latest technology, has everything necessary for the convenience of students, from classrooms to the Chess Academy.
In her closing speech, Kulyash Kabidoldanova, as an interim principal, stressed that the International School of Astana is ready to develop and maintain close ties and promote academic exchange between the two institutions, expressing the hope that this visit will help strengthen cooperation and deepen friendship between representatives of the two countries.
