Today, during an event dedicated to the start of the new academic year, a delegation from China made an official visit to the International School of Astana. For the first time the school gave a welcome to guests from the Celestial Empire, namely several representatives of the All-China Women’s Federation, including Ms Zhu Xiaozheng, a Deputy Head of the Publicity Department and Ms Jin Yuxi, a staff member of the Department, Ms Li Xiaoxing, the Head of the European Affairs Branch of the International Liaison Department, and Ms Ji Zhongbin, the Head of the Research Center.
Immediately after their arrival, Mr Zhanbyrzhan Bekbolatov, a Deputy Principal of the host school, gave them a tour of the school building, and told how the educational process is conducted in the modern, technically well-equipped school. During the tour, he told the visitors about numerous education projects of the school, and they in turn carefully examined its classes and visited the greenhouse, gym, library, and lecture hall. The delegation The guest highly appreciated the campus, which fully corresponds to the modern requirements for designing and equipping the classrooms, as well as everything necessary for the convenience of students, from classrooms to the Chess Academy of Darmen Sadvakasov.
According to the guests, this is their first visit to Kazakhstan and they arrived here to attend the international women’s forum at the invitation of the country’s government. Sharing her ‘wonderful’ impressions of the International School of Astana, Ms Zhu Xiaozheng says:
‘We were pleased to learn that women in your country are highly educated and can receive a decent education. We were also amazed to discover that the school pays great attention to the comprehensive development of students, especially their critical thinking skills’.
