Online registration for participation in the competitive selection for admission to grades 1-11 for the 2024-2025 academic year will end on May 24, 2024.
Admission stages to the International School of Astana.
- 1. Online registration;
- 2. Submission of documents in accordance with paragraphs 6, 8 before May 24 in office 144
- 3. Passing the entrance test;
- 4. Obtaining a result on passing or rejecting admission;
- 5. Handling over a personal file, medical documents and signing an agreement.
1. Online registration is available from 25.04.2024 until 24.05.2024 (inclusively).
Upon registration, parents are determined with the choice of the language of instruction and have the opportunity to participate in the competitive selection with only one selected language of instruction.
2. After completing online registration, registered candidates will be invited by e-mail to the entrance interview (for grades 1) according to the selected class.
Day of the entrance interview – 03.06.2024 – 07.06.2024 (for grades 1)
Day of the entrance test – 06.06.2024 (for grades 2-11)
3. Announcement of results of entrance interview – June 17, 2024 (for grades 1-11)
4. Submission of personal and medical documents, and signing of an agreement with candidates recommended for enrollment from June 18, 2024.
Paragraph 6. To participate in the competitive selection for admission to the 1st grade, the legal representative, within the time limits established by the order of the School Director, provides the following documents to the admissions committee:
1) an application in the form in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Rules;
2) registration form in accordance with Appendix 2 to these Rules;
3) a copy of the Applicant’s birth certificate, a copy of his passport (if available);
4) a copy of the child’s health passport form 026-u;
5) 2 photographs of the Applicant in 3×4 format.
If the documents specified in subparagraph 3) of paragraph 6 and in this paragraph of the Rules are presented in a foreign language, it is necessary to attach a notarized translation in Kazakh or Russian.
Paragraph 7. Legal representatives of the Applicant, who are foreigners, stateless persons, refugees, asylum seekers, kandas, additionally submit a document confirming the right to stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) foreigner – residence permit for a foreigner in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) stateless person – certificate of a stateless person;
3) refugee – refugee certificate;
4) asylum seeker – certificate of the asylum seeker;
5) kandas – a kandas certificate or a certificate from the migration authorities.
The requirement specified in paragraph 1) of this paragraph of the Rules does not apply to employees of embassies and consulates in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 46 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
Persons temporarily residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan provide a copy of their passport and a copy of their migration card.
Paragraph 8. For admission to grades 2-11 of the School, in addition to the documents provided for in paragraphs 6 and 7 of these Rules, the legal representative additionally provides
a copy of the report card and conduct or document on academic progress provided for the previous year of study preceding the grade level at the School, and for the current academic year, if the Applicant is transferred to the School during the academic year.
All documents will need to be submitted in a folder with 10 files

*Entry fee is used to further improve the school educational environment. The fee is one time and non-refundable. The amount of the entrance fee is not included in the total cost of education.
1. The cost of education includes an academic program.
2. A discount is provided for school fee for legal representatives based on a written application;
- – 10% for the 2nd child studying at the branch or being a pupil of a kindergarten;
- – 15% for the 3rd and each subsequent child studying at a branch or being a pupil of a kindergarten
- – 10% for each of the children when paying the full amount of tuition under the contract for the entire academic year. This discount will be provided until the beginning of the new academic year.
3. Pupils are provided with three-time meals a day (breakfast, lunch snack). The cost of one day of meal is 2 860 (two thousand eight hundred sixty) tenge. The amount of food payment is paid monthly.
